al-Wājid audio caligraphy

The Finder,  The All-Perceiving,  The Wealthy,  The Resourceful

The One who has discovered and obtained everything.

The One who perceives and possesses everything.

The One who has no wants and who lacks nothing.

From the root w-j-d which has the following classical Arabic connotations:

to find, discover, attain what was sought
to become aware of something, to perceive, to experience
to gain or possess wealth, property, resources
to be rich, to have abundance
to be without wants

The name Wājid is not specifically used as a Beautiful Name in the Qur'ān.

The ancient roots of wājid point toward an open hand holding of every manner of abundance.

(Also written as al-wajid, al-waajid, the All-Perceiving: ya wajid, ya waajid,)
